Blossom OB/GYN & Infertility, P.A. was established to provide medical care for women of all ages. Marjorie Chorness, MD has special training in the unique healthcare needs of women. Our staff specializes in a full spectrum of women's health concerns - including wellness and prevention, pregnancy care and delivery, adolescent gynecology, perimenopausal and menopausal problems,bioidentical hormones, infertility, preconceptional care and abnormal paps.
Dr. Marjorie Chorness has been in the field of Obstetrics & Gynecology for nearly 20 years. Her professional life is dedicated to the practice of women's health, encompassing management of gynecologic issues such as contraception, screening and treatment of abnormal pap smears and STD's, treatment of pelvic pain, menopausal issues, contraceptive management, health, wellness, counseling and infertility, and bleeding disorders.
Hysterectomy (abdominal, vaginal, and laparoscopic)

Colposcopy, laser, LEEP, and cryosurgery for the treatment of abnormal Pap smears
Hysterectomy and hysteroscopic surgery (removal of fibroid tumors, septa, etc. from the uterus)
Dr. Chorness also manages all phases of obstetric care including OB visits, testing, ultrasounds, preparation for labor and delivery, as well as the deliveries.
OB Care consists of 10-14 office visits occurring monthly until 28 weeks of pregnancy, every two weeks until 36 weeks of pregnancy, and then every 1-2 weeks until delivery.
At your first OB visit your pregnancy will be confirmed with a urine test and depending on your dates a vaginal ultrasound may be done to confirm viability. After your sonogram you will have routine labs, a urine test and pap test, if necessary. At this visit you will also receive your OB packet to review prior to your next OB visit and for your reference throughout your pregnancy.
When you have tests or labs done, Dr. Chorness will review each lab or test result with you at your next OB visit.
